It is oil soluble (not water soluble) and is usually incorporated via the oil phase when preparing emulsions. It has no known incompatibilities.

Description: Tucuma oil has applications in topical skin care due to its beneficial fatty-acid composition (high levels of essential fatty acids). It has a high content of pro-Vitamin A, among which the Carotenoids dominate. This has high antioxidant activity.
