Ginkgo Biloba – Liquid Herbal Extract (Cosmetic Grade)

Other chemical constituents: Hydro-alcoholic solvent for the herb (Water; Ethanol); Potassium Sorbate (Natural preservative); Xanthan Gum (natural gum stabilizer) and Citric Acid (pH adjustment).

Action of the herb: Ginkgo extract may have three effects on the human body: it improves blood flow (including microcirculation in small capillaries) to most tissues and organs; it protects against oxidative cell damage from free radicals; and it blocks many of the effects of platelet-activating factor (platelet aggregation, blood clotting) that have been related to the development of a number of cardiovascular, renal, respiratory and CNS (Central Nervous System) disorders.

Use: 2 – 10% added to a water based skin or hair care product when cooled below 35?C.

These extracts will not disperse in oil and may need a solubiliser/emulsifier to incorporate into a non-aqueous product.
