Freshskin Beauty’s clove leaf organic essential oil is carefully extracted using steam from the leaves of the clove tree, grown in India. Clove leaf oil has been used in traditional herbal treatments for centuries, especially in ayurvedic practice of the Indian subcontinent. This organic oil has the same characteristic clove smell but is sharper than the oil produced by the clove bud.
Clove leaf oil is a natural companion to blend with other spice-based oils but works equally well with the citrus family. Rose, lavender, clary sage, bay, ylang ylang and bergamot make good partners, too.
