The colonial settlers of Australia learned about the powerful properties of eucalyptus from the aboriginal Australians, who had been using this tree for a vast number of purposes for millennia. Also known as lemon-scented eucalyptus oil, the citrusy edge of Eucalyptus Citriodora essential oil counteracts the camphoraceous note of other eucalyptus oils such as gully gum.
Overall, its aroma is sweet, lemony and fresh with a woody banknote.
Like other eucalyptus oils, Eucalyptus Citriodora organic essential oil is a good mate for pine, lavender, thyme, rosemary, marjoram, cedarwood. If you’d like to intensify the citrus note, then lemon is an obvious choice.
