Freshskin Beauty’s eucalyptus camaldulensis – or red gum – organic essential oil is steam distilled from the wood and leaves of this tall, evergreen tree. It has the same pungent camphoraceous scent as all the eucalyptus oils.
It was the native aboriginal Australians who originally discovered the powerful properties of eucalyptus trees. Eucalyptus oil is a key ingredient in mouthwashes, gargles and dental preparations and also features in room sprays and household cleaners.
Try using with lemon oil for a citrus lift to balance the camphor-like tones but you can also try blending with pine, thyme, lavender, marjoram, rosemary and cedarwood.
